This is a set of brushes that have been designed to simplify the sculpting and detailing process for Bark and Wood in ZBrush allowing you to create intricate details and patterns on your meshes with ease.

Why this pack?
The idea behind this pack of brushes was to create resources that could speed up the detailing process for organic rough surfaces such as wood and bark objects. However, the effects of the brushes in this pack and the patterns that can be created are a great starting point for detailing all sorts of things like creature skin, horns, antlers, and even rock surfaces.

There are 115 brushes in this pack, including brushes that produce a very convincing effect with a single stroke and others that generate a simpler and more stylized pattern. The simple brushes are, in fact, ‘simple’ by design so that you can combine 2 or 3 different effects to create something much more complex and interesting; that way, you can produce a lot more custom and unique patterns.

All the brushes in this pack contains 115 sculpting brushes in 3 main categories (and a couple of extras).

Layering brushes: These brushes create a layered strong effect so you can cover a large surface area with a single stroke
Sculpting brushes: These are brushes that will create details on the surface of the mesh but compared to the layering brushes the surface won’t be displaced as much, keeping your original volume.
Basic alpha-based brushes: These are simple ‘click and drag’ brushes that will apply a detailed alpha over the mesh.
