– FumeFX: Added the ability to create a FumeFX Vortex directly from the FumeFX Create Object menu.

– NodeWorks: Lock To Object node performance significantly improved. The node now uses multi-threaded computations, resulting in substantially faster calculations.

– NodeWorks: Added multiple random distribution options to the Random node.

– NodeWorks: Spline Gen node added distribution option for Random generation type.

– NodeWorks: The Spline Gen node added Tangential and Normal speed controls, allowing initial particle velocities to be defined directly from the local spline tangent and normal, simplifying motion setup along curved paths.

– NodeWorks: Gravity node added point gravity option.

– NodeWorks: Renamed the Age node to Age Test and introduced a new Age node for reading, setting, and blending particle age.

Fixes

– FumeFX: Opening the floater dialog during simulation does not have progress display.

– FumeFX: GPU Viewport 2.0 did not correctly apply individual GPU viewport display settings for each grid.

– FumeFX: CPU mode Velocity Damping was not working correctly.

– FumeFX: Parameter Check incorrectly reported the CUDA simulation option as a Variable Density Solver.

– NodeWorks: Grid Source node crash when using selected faces option in FumeFX simulation.

– NodeWorks: Selection connection right-click menu showed options that were not applicable (e.g. Copy, Paste). This has been corrected, and a new popup was added.

– NodeWorks: Particles controlled by Ocean Float were no longer visible in the viewport.

– NodeWorks: Removed automatic pin type conversion and setup when creating connections for the following nodes: Random, Lerp, and Random DW.

– NodeWorks: Import Shape node (Objects by RegEx) did not update the object list properly.

– NodeWorks: Fixed a crash related to cloth simulation.

– NodeWorks: Fixed an issue in the PBD Source where ordinary particles failed to convert to liquid particles.

– NodeWorks: Simulation was incorrectly restarting when parameters were changed during an active FumeFX simulation.

– NodeWorks: Lock To Object node could occasionally move particles away from the locked position.

– NodeWorks: Age Test node did not behave correctly when particle age was equal to lifespan in certain cases.

– NodeWorks: When rendering with Arnold and motion blur, partially computed Memory Cache data could become invalid.

– NodeWorks: Arnold User Data for particle age was not properly normalized based on particle lifespan.

– NodeWorks: Memory Cache did not properly handle edited custom channel names for Arnold User Data export.
