Sky Plus is entirely procedural, which lets you control virtually everything you see.
It’s also designed to be extremely intuitive and easy to use for artists of every skill level!
No crazy technical terminologies, just straight to the point!

No More Headaches!

Sky Plus is also NOT an addon; it’s entirely self contained as a shader, and accessed via the Asset Library!
This ensures that Sky Plus will ALWAYS work on Day 1 of almost any new Blender updates.

In the rare occurrences that it does break, there’s no technical overhead to worry about, so patches are lightning fast to ship!
On that note, here’s a demo of it using the new Multiple Scattering feature in Blender 5.0 Alpha!

Day Sky
Features for days!

Sky Plus takes the built in sky texture, and gives it a Plus! (hence the name)
You’re able to change everything from the sky color, suns haze color, as well as utilizing our custom Density function!

Auto Day to Night Transition

Density & Atmosphere

The Density and Atmosphere Composition settings can be adjusted to realistically simulate dust, smoke, haze, fog, sand, pollution, etc, as it blocks out the sun, moon, and stars.
This also scatters the sunlight to a more orange-red color, just like in real life.

Sky Color

The sky color, as well as the haze from the suns glow can be changed to whatever color you want!
If desired, you can use the suns existing automatic or custom color to drive the haze for you!

Sun Settings

Works in EEVEE!!

This sun is the primary light source in the scene, so you’ll be able to also independently change it’s camera vs. physical scene brightness.
You can also change the color, or use a custom color temperature via the included slider.

More “Days” to come!

We have more day time features in the works, such as 2D Clouds within the shader, Heat-Wave Distortion, 3D Clouds, physical fog, and more!

Night Sky
We got Dark Mode!

Just like the Day Time features, the night sky is just as packed with features!
A fully featured Moon, Star System, and even procedural volumetric Auroras!

Auto Moon Phases

Despite our moon looking physically in the scene, it’s 100% driven by shaders!
The moons phase will also auto track to the suns position, or can be manually set and adjusted to your liking!
Also control the indirect lighting, and color of the moon!

Real-Time Auroras

Our Auroras are not only procedural, not only physically volumetric, but they also run in real time!
Packed with productivity features, you can make them do nearly anything you want!

Customizable Stars

Also procedural, you can customize the distribution density, and intensity of the stars and milky way / galaxy band.
You can also enable “Manual Rotation”, which allows you to rotate the stars around a polar axis. This also comes with a North Star, and debug tool to easily find the polar axis
