For example, to set Vertices = 5 and Roundness to negative value, blur shape becomes star shape (center image).

Customize using a custom layer
You can make any layer be the custom shape of the bokeh.

Depth of Field
You can define a depth map to apply a more realistic lens blur to simulate a depth of field effect.
