A procedural lightning bolt generator made using Geometrynodes in Blender 3.2. Now all kinds of bolts can be made. The animation is procedural, and very customizable.
The main bolt creates lightning branches from a guide edge.
To edit the main bolts use the controls in the modifier tab, or go into edit mode and move the guide edge.
The arc bolts attach to an object of the user’s choosing.
To edit the arc bolts use the controls in the modifier tab.
