Course 1 – Advance Acting

In this course, you will learn first-hand how to plan and implement your animation in a professional environment. You will learn to create cinematic shots (or plans) and smooth transitions between them, choreographing scenes to best support the story or character in the frame. Your assignments will focus on creating dialogue scenes between 2 people, you will learn to focus on each character and give them enough time without losing the main point of the scene and shot. 

Course 2 – Body Mechanics

In Body Mechanics, dive deep into the physical animation of humanoid characters, including full-body walks. Start by honing your observational skills and understanding human anatomy in relation to posing and body mechanics. Once you understand the source of realistic movement, you’ll be ready to learn how timing and spacing can transform your animation from realistic to stylized. Finally, add polish and shine to your animation. 

Course 3  – Animation Basics

In this course, you’ll go beyond software to learn how to realistically convey weight, movement, and overlap—essential skills for a character animator. You’ll start the course by learning how to animate a bouncing ball, and then take that bouncing ball further by creating both “classic” and “custom” walk cycles.
