The Rig System
This component allows users to create a wide variety of advanced rigs with just a few parameters and a template of points. It can create an open system that consists of independent components such as bones, helpers, controllers, and solvers that can be modified, replaced or removed. There are different types of rigs available, such as biped, quadruped, centaur, insect, and more.

The rig’s limbs can have IKFK solvers, reverse foot parameters, an IK spine, twist bones and UI panels with picker controls. Additionally the user can create a face rig based on bones or morph targets.

1.08.03 (June 2, 2026)
– Fixed problem with rotation gizmo not working correctly with anim layers happening since the version 1.08.01.
– Fixed Control shape/helper selector picknode mode prompting an error when the cursor hovers over the scene/layers explorer.

1.08.02 (May 29, 2026)
– Fixed animation manager import animation of FBX HumanIK skeletons not being retarget properly.
– Fixed crash happening when reseting a scene sometimes.
– Fixed wobble in the joints of a rig using IKFK solver during IKFK blending. This issue was the same as one that was previously fixed for the hands / feet of a rig but now it’s fixed in all the joints.
– Fixed animation manager import animation maxscript function.

1.08.01 (May 17, 2026)
– Euler Blending is now implemented in the Animation Layers, this avoid undesired flippings when blending between animation layers. This option can be turned on/off in the animation layers settings dialog. NOTE: This option is disabled in scenes created with older versions of the plugin, switching it on will change older transformations so it is better to create the layers from the start.
